Alanya is distinguished for its historical and cultural tourist attractions. Alanya has an unconquerable beach life as well. Religious customs should be prized,  particularly during the month of Ramadan when eating, drinking and smoking during daylight hours should be discreet as it is forbidden by the Muslim culture.
